GIS isolating switch is often affected by mechanical equipment or the environment in the practical application process, GIS isolation switch fault often comes from the mechanical and electrical faults, which will seriously affect the safety of power supply. This paper presents a method of using the angular displacement sensor and current transformer to monitor the mechanical characteristics of operating mechanism. The angular displacement sensor is installed on the motor shaft, according to the rotation angle of the motor, it indirectly judges whether the three-position state of GIS isolation switch is normal, the current sensor is used to indirectly judge the mechanical motion of the operating mechanism by monitoring the current of the motor. We use the laser and double-beam technique to detect SF6 gas leakage concentration. Via on-spot testing of the GIS high voltage isolation switch online monitoring device, we could find the device is installed easily, and it also can found whether the operating mechanism of GIS isolation switch has broken rod, astringent or electrical insulation performance timely. It is of great significance to ensure the supply safety of the power grid. |
