Pressure effects on the electrical resistivities of (Y1−xPrx)2Ba4Cu7O15-δ with x = 0, 0.1, 0.4 and 0.6

Popis: | We have investigated the pressure effects on the electrical resistivities of (Y 1− x Pr x ) 2 Ba 4 Cu 7 O 15-δ ( x = 0, 0.1 , 0.4 and 0.6) polycrystals. The superconducting transition temperature T c decreases from 78.8 K ( x = 0) to 40 K ( x = 0.6) with increasing Pr concentration. The pressure coefficient of T c at P = 0, (d T c /d P ) P = 0 is remarkably affected by the Pr concentration. It varies from + 5 K/GPa ( x = 0) to -15 K/GPa ( x = 0.6). The pressure dependence of the electrical resistivity in the normal state is also studied. We discuss the effect of Pr doping on the pressure dependence of T c . |
