Popis:	We now report a type of additive able to control the process of particle formation at the earliest stages. The organo-silane triol, CH 3 O(CH 2 CH 2 O) 3 CH 2 CH 2 CH 2 Si(OH) 3 , is distinguished by remaining substantially monomeric in aqueous solution as a result of intra-molecular hydrogen bonding which screens the silanol groups and inhibits the normal condensation to form siloxane bonds
