Popis:	In this study the effect of soaking temperature and time on the dissolution of elements V, Nb and Ti in microalloyed steels was investigated, using thermodynamic analysis and experimental determination of T nr . It was found that the dissolution is dependent on temperature and time, niobium being the controlling factor of the solubility in usual conditions of slab reheating, and also that the T nr can be used as an indirect evaluation of solubilization.
