Popis: The 673d Civil Engineer Squadron, Conservation Section (CES/CEANC), under U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Environmental Services Restoration Contract W911KB-06-D-0006, Task Order 0025, contracted Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Jacobs) to perform an archaeological study of land included in the planned upgrades to Bivouac 4 on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) as part of the Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Plan. Jacobs Archaeologist Phyllys Callina conducted a Level I: Identification Phase archaeological survey of the Bivouac 4 area and the immediate surrounding 77 acres, in accordance with OHA 2003 and 48 CFR 44716, to locate and identify any cultural resources that might be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). This document includes that study.
