Popis: | Two-dimensional dusty plasmas can be realized experimentally and are examples of a classical many body system with a screened Coulomb interaction. After discussing experimental approaches, we present the basics of molecular dynamics simulations of dusty plasmas. A web-based platform is developed that allows users to perform molecular dynamics simulations, visualize the system for selected system parameters, and obtain results for the pair correlation function and the dispersion relation of waves in the system.Two-dimensional dusty plasmas can be realized experimentally and are examples of a classical many body system with a screened Coulomb interaction.
