This study was conducted to investigate the levels of academic self-efficacy and perceived multi-purpose social support of university students. The population of the study consists of students studying in the faculty of sports sciences at Hittite University, and the sample consists of 486 volunteer students. Personal Information Form, Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (Ekici et al., 2007) and Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale (Eker et al., 2001) were used as data collection instruments. When the obtained data were analyzed; no significant difference was found between the participants' academic self-efficacy and social support scores according to gender (p> 005). While there was a significant difference in academic self-efficacy scores (p 0.05).
