This paper explains the application of a novel shaped dielectric resonating antenna for 5G communication. The conventional circular dielectric resonating antenna (DRA) is modified in such a way that the proposed patch attains a shape equivalent to biconvex lens. Among many feeding techniques the aperture feed has been chosen for this DRA and the for the substrate material FR4 Epoxy is considered which is widely available. The material for the perturbed DRA is selected in such a way that it will have high dielectric constant as well as the availability of the material will be wide. For this purpose Alumin_92pc has been considered having a dielectric constant of 9.2 and its widely available. For simulation purpose the HFSS software is used. From the simulation result the parameters like return loss (S11 |
