Popis: | The current systemic and structural barriers that contribute to health inequity are a global crisis and contribute to health outcome disparities. Health professional programs need to invest time, attention, and resources to ensure health professional learners develop the competencies needed to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. Entry-level health care programs must cultivate curricula that align with and are intentional about promoting Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) as tools to dismantle the systems and structures in place that perpetuate Oppression. This scoping review will use a critical lens, to explore how entry-level health professional programs develop/design and deliver/integrate concepts related to Anti-Oppression and JEDI. The results of this study may provide information and guidance for health professional programs who are currently or seeking to integrate concepts related to Anti-Oppression and JEDI in entry-level curriculum. |
