Popis: | In this paper a novel design of microstrip patch antenna (MPA), which consists of two radiation patches and a transmission line, is presented to enlarge the frequency ratio (FR). The H-shaped antenna is fully analyzed under two resonant modes via transmission line model. It indicates that the FR among TM 10 and TM 30 can be entirely dominated by the electrical length and impedance ratios between radiating patches and transmission line. The width of the radiation patch is progressively enlarged to move the TM 30 further to TM 10 . The prototype antenna is designed, fabricated, and tested. Experiment results show that the antenna has achieved a maximum FR of 6.52, which ranges from 0. 89GHz to 5. 80GHz, while keeping low-cross polarization and stable radiation pattern. |
