Popis: Electrodeless methods, based on the inductive coupling of samples to coils, for determining the electrical conductivity, the Hall mobility, and the magneto-resistance of a semiconductor are described. The theory is developed for cylindrical and spherical geometry samples and design considerations and experimental techniques are discussed. These methods eliminate problems encountered with standard four-probe methods, such as obtaining non-rectifying and non-injecting contacts, and applying electrodes to liquid or chemically active samples.
