Popis: A vision system designed to let a mobile robot operate autonomously in the presence of other vehicles is introduced. It has a modular structure with distinct recognition modules and object processors for the relevant objects in the environment of the robot. ne recognition modules have been tested in highway scenes. A demonstration of automatic driving at normal speed and in normal traflc on a German Autobahn is planned.
