Popis:	Marine sport fisheries research in North America—its historically stated goals, its actual accomplishments, and its future—is reviewed from the standpoint of the angler, administrator, and fisheries scientist. Emphasis is placed upon the future of marine sport fisheries research and its problems of rationale and motivation, funding, quality and quantity of manpower, the need for and application of management, research, and public education, and a synopsis of real and potential problems of the future.
