Popis: | A novel, compact, rectangular increasing-distance spiral-slot (RIDSS) structure is proposed for photonic band-gap (PBG) applications. The dimension of the RIDSS structure is only about 1/8λ at the cutoff frequency. Only three cells of the RIDSS-PBG are sufficient for the measured beyond the 20-dB stopband from 1470 to 2034 MHz, thus rendering the whole structure super-compact. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
