Popis:	The effects of alloying and a treatment technology on the texture and the anisotropy of the mechanical properties of magnesium-based alloys are reviewed. Quantitative methods are proposed for the investigation and control of the texture and anisotropy parameters of the alloys. Various aspects of the application of granular metallurgy to enhance a complex of the properties of magnesium alloys are discussed.
