| Popis: | Results of metallographic examination of the surface of catalyst gauzes and catchment gauzed made of several alloys of platinum and palladium have been presented. Also, results of analysis of the chemical composition on the gauze surface and its cross-section are given. The investigations carried out gave additional information on catalytic etching of the gauze wire surface. Examinations were made by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray microanalysis by ICXA-SUPERPROBE 733 equipped with an energy dispersive spectrometer (LINK 860/550). |
