Research of the Cogging Force in TPMLSM with Unequal Pole-Pitch

Popis: Cogging force is one of the main factors causing the thrust fluctuation of permanent magnet synchronous linear motor, in order to effectively suppress the influence of cogging force on the thrust fluctuations, cogging force is analytical analyzed based on energy method and Fourier decomposition method ,this paper proposes unequal pole-pitch method of stator and mover to inhibit the cogging force of permanent magnet synchronous linear motor, Mechanism of unequal pole-pitch method of stator and mover to weaken the cogging force of PMLSM are analyzed in theory, the formula of the unequal pole-pitch method of stator and mover are derived, the thrust fluctuation of an axially magnetized TPMLSM with unequal pole-pitch is simulated and analyzed by the finite element method, the results show that the cogging force is weakened, reduced the armature harmonic contents of the No- load Back- EMF , thrust fluctuation is effectively suppressed.
