On the Possibility of Impulse Signal Identification by a Small Ensemble of Model Neurons

Popis: We propose a description of impulse signal identification by a small ensemble of model neurons. The neurons are described on the basis of piecewise-linear maps. The model ensemble consists of a chain of clusters of globally coupled neurons. The dynamic regimes of most efficient signal identification are shown. The range of stimulus parameters where the signal is identified correctly is found. The possibility of interpretation of obtained results from the biological viewpoint is discussed.
