Popis:	This paper is about two strongly related topics, right CEP-rings and weaklyinjective rings and modules. Rings whose cyclic modules are embeddable essentially in direct summands and rings whose cyclics are embeddable essentially in projectives have been studied in [6], [7] and [8]. Following [6], we refer to the latter as right CEPrings. We propose refering to the former as right CES-rings. In the above mentioned references, semiperfect CES-rings are characterized as follows
