Vapour transport of CdCr2S4 and HgCr2Se4: Chemical equilibrium and crystal growth

Popis: Theoretical and experimental studies of the CdCr2S4(HgCr2Se4): CrCl3 systems have been performed for the crystal composition control in the chemical transport growth. The balance partial pressures of the components have been calculated in a wide temperature range. It is shown that the CdCr2S4 composition control can take place with the powerful change of the transport agent quantity. Such control for the HgCr2Se4: CrCl3 system is more difficult. The calculated vapour phase composition is in good agreement with the determined one based on the measurements of the sound speed and transport rate. [Russian Text Ignored].
