Popis: | In this paper, a polarization-insensitive and wide-angle broadband metamaterial absorber was proposed. It consists of periodic arrays of interconnected metal crosses with gradient arm length. Simulated results show that broadband absorption over 90% from 5.68GHz to 9.83GHz is achieved. Electric field distributions show that the different scale cross produces the fundamental standing wave resonance, and each resonance peaks overlap to form the broadband absorption. The absorption spectra at different polarization angles is unchanged, and the absorption remains above 80% when the oblique incident angle reaches 45°. The impact of some structure parameters on the absorption was also investigated. The designed absorber will have potential applications in stealth. |
