Popis: | Whole body vibration (WBV) is a common phenomenon for heavy machinery operators such as tractor driver, earth mover operator, cranes, helicopter pilots etc. Whole body vibration is the main cause of musculoskeletal diseases and pain in joints which is gradually decreases the motor abilities of the person. However random human body vibration is a very popular cure for posture correction in Parkinson patients. Whole body vibration can be eradicated by practices such as Ergonomics and many such inventions which are being devised for the same purpose. A condition also arises, when some body parts get damage due to vibration, and need to replace/repair. In contrast to this, biomaterials come into consideration. This review paper gives an overview of whole-body vibration, its health effects, relevant remedies for WBV, role and future trend of biomaterials has been discussed. |
