Popis:	Reduction of HCrO 4 − with H 3 AsO 3 in solutions buffered by 2-ethyl-2-hydroxybutanoic acid (LigH) and its salt (Lig − ) yields stabilized pink solutions of Cr(IV). This atypical state is oxidized to a bis chelate of Cr(V) with excess Cr(VI), is reduced very slowly to chelated Cr(III) with excess Lig − , but does not react with As(III)
