Popis: The technique of multi-electrode epicardial recording of electrical activity of the heart is now commonly used for evaluation of the ischemic injury in experimental studies (Maroko et al., 1971). Its ability to follow the dynamic changes and ease of application made this method attractive and widely used in experiments involving studies of the evolution of myocardial infarction and of the influence of various interventions. Multi-electrode recording of precordial electrical signals was subsequently introduced for clinical studies (Maroko et al., 1972; Muller et al., 1975).
