Popis: Harmony Search (HS) nests in a class of population based evolutionary algorithms which are a classification of meta-heuristic algorithm that resembles the improvisation of musical process by a team comprising of different musicians. It dominates the other existing algorithms belonging to this category by its impressive performance in terms of the convergence speed. This paper is a survey on the collection of different existing Harmony Search algorithms that are able to address computational issues especially in the field of task scheduling.
