Popis: | Amines and alcohols are important classes of building blocks in organic synthesis. The synthesis of these compounds has been a topic of interest. A straightforward method for their synthesis is the reduction of esters and amides to alcohols and amines, respectively. Various transition-metal catalysts have been developed for the homogeneous hydrogenation of esters and amides to alcohols and amines.
