The smart home for disabled people is a resolution to the various day-to-day difficulties faced by physically challenged people. The advancement in home automation is quite significant in the past few years, the idea here is to develop a system that would provide ease and comfort to the physically challenged in everyday life. The suggested system operates remotely through Voice Control, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which would make people self-dependent and enable them to access the appliances with ease. The emergence of affordable and cheap microcontrollers has enabled the implementation of low-cost smart homes. This special-purpose system would result in improved standards of living for every individual. In this paper, an effort to present an affordable, multi-facility, home system has been done which is capable of integrating appliances. |
