One of the most energy-intensive productions of the metallurgical enterprise is the oxygen-converter. The power consumers of such workshops put high demands on the voltage quality. At the same time, electrical receivers of such workshops can significantly reduce the power quality. The authors had estimated the voltage level in the existing 10 kV network of the oxygen converter shop. The voltage drop below the level allowed by the conditions of work of electrical receivers had been revealed. Causes of voltage reduction in conditions complex configuration network had been determined. A mathematical model has been developed to study the power quality indicators of the workshop in question, taking into account the characteristics of the supply network. The influence of the supply voltage level, the regulatory effect of the load, the load power and the configuration of the supply network on the voltage level had been investigated. A set of measures to improve the quality of the network voltage has been developed. Taking into account the indicators of power quality, compensating devices are recommended for installation. A technical and economic comparison of the installation options for compensating devices has been made, taking into account the power and electricity loss in the supply and distribution network of the workshop. The overall level of loss in the composition of the power consumption of the oxygen converter shop had been evaluated. Its decrease had been shown when introducing recommended measures. |
