Second-moment closure predictions of turbulence-induced secondary flow in a straight square duct

Popis: The ability to predict the complex flow field inside a straight square duct with a low-Re SMC which utilises the novel elliptic relaxation approach to account for near-wall effects has been investigated. The overall agreement with low-Re DNS and high-Re experimental data is fairly good, but the strenght of the turbulence-generated secondary flow field is somewhat underpredicted.
