The present study deals with the first record of alien crab Eurycarcinus integrifrons de Man, 1879 collected from the Egyptian coasts of the Mediterranean Sea during May 2016. It is the first work describing the male specimen in the Mediterranean Sea. This crab species affiliates to family Pilumnidae, under the Decapoda infra-order Brachyura. A re-description compiled with more detailed taxonomical information as well as a distribution of the recorded species are provided. |
