Exact Geometrical Optics Scattering by a Truncated Rectangular Metal Trench

Popis:	The scattering of electromagnetic waves by metallic structures with sharp edges does not usually allow for exact geometrical optics solutions. However, several such solutions have been recently found by this author, under the assumption that the target is simultaneously illuminated by more than one primary plane wave [1]–[4]. The common feature of these boundary-value problems is that the incident waves must combine in such a way as not to excite the sharp metallic edges of the target.
