| Popis: | This chapter explores how the independent Indian government inherited the concerns and anxieties of the British colonial regime with regard to possible Chinese interference and colonization. It points out that the colonial anxieties were deeply embedded in the mindset of Indian policymakers and misled them to overjudge the state-building projects initiated by the Chinese government (both the Nationalist and the Communist) in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. |
