Popis:	SummarySeveral new clamps have been developed to facilitate laparoscopic bowel surgery. This paper discusses the histologic extent of tissue injury in porcine bowel caused by both these clamps and open clamps. The laparoscopic atraumatic bowel clamps compared favourably with open atraumatic bowel clamps in terms of microscopic injury of the bowel.
