Diagnostics of the Tettigoniid genus Conocephalus occurring in the rice fields

Popis:	In this study, the genus Conocephalus (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae) collected from the rice fields of Coimbatore and Bhavanisagar, Tamil Nadu are taxonomically analysed. Three species viz., C. longipennis, C. maculatus and C. rentzi inhabiting rice fields have been redescribed and illustrated. Occurrence of C. rentzi in rice with description of male genitalia is reported for the first time.
