A new Na+ ion conducting polymer electrolyte based on (PEO+NaYF4) and its use as an electrochemical cell

Popis: | Poly (ethylene oxide) (PEO) based solid polymer electrolyte with NaYF4 salt has been prepared and investigated by IR, optical absorption and transport number measurements. The material is found to be a mixed (ionic + electronic) conductor. An electrochemical cell with the configuration Na/PEO+NaYF4/(I2+C+ electrolyte) has been prepared and studied its characteristics for which the open circuit voltage (OCV) and short circuit current (SCC) are 2.4 V and 8υA respectively. A number of cell parameters evaluated are also reported. |
