Popis: | Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were synthesized using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of a vapor-gas mixture of ethanol and air. Influence of different Fe-Ni alloys on the synthesis of CNTs is studied. Seymchan meteorite was used as a substrate, containing these alloys. Synthesized structures were investigated using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy. CNTs with different morphology were observed on various structural components of the substrate. Thermal oxidation experiment was carried out. The process was similar to CVD, but in the experiment, there was no carbon source. Nanorods of nickel and iron oxides were obtained using thermal oxidation. |
