Popis: Diaphragmatic masses can present a challenge to resect and reconstruct given the anatomical location of the pathology and proximity to the lower rib cage and costal arch and the presence of the upper abdominal structures such as the spleen and liver; especially if performed in a minimally invasive fashion. Using robotic technology, the minimally invasive approach can be enhanced. The set up and technique for an efficient robotic resection of a diaphragmatic mass and the reconstruction are described.
