Popis: In this chapter, the author looks at the place of naming and anonymity and the centrality of these phenomena in the #MeToo movement, especially in the context of anonymous hashtags and the naming involved in perpetrator lists. The chapter analyses questions of language, nomenclature, and feminism within the larger context of the #MeToo movement, in order to create a space for the recovery of personhood for those who have been at the receiving end of gender-based violence. The analysis is situated within the contexts of trauma studies on the one hand, and philosophical perspectives of what constitutes agency, victimhood, and personhood on the other. Finally, in discussing the impact of these issues on the nature of solidarities across generations and cultures, the author makes a case for feminism to include, within its purview, the silent, the victimised, and the anonymous person.
