Popis: | This paper deals with the numerical simulation of flue gas in a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system which is connected to a combined heat and power (CHP) unit. The main subject is the evaluation the basic design and to search for any possible improvements, but there are quite strict restrictions related to this. We present numerous design geometry modifications which have been created according to previous knowledge obtained from similar projects and some of the variants are also inspired by other researchers. ANSYS Fluent is used to create the models and for the evaluation. More than thirty modifications were designed but only a selection of them is presented here. |
