Popis: | A future soldier carries a large gear weight in the battle because of increasing in the number of electronic devices such as communication equipment, sensors, or battlefield situational displays. These devices are necessary to save his life and ensure the victory in the combat. So, the wearable energy harvesting technology is the optimal solution to provide the energy to the soldier's electronic devices and reduce the number of portable batteries which are an extra load to the soldier. Energy harvesting systems collect small amounts of wasted energy as light, kinetic, heat or vibrations. This paper introduces one of the possible wearable energy harvesting systems which uses piezoelectric transducer embedded in solder's boot soles to capture the energy generated by footsteps. The components of the proposed system will be introduced. Also, simulation and modeling of the system using Matlab/Simulink software are done. |
