The problems of collecting chaff as a resource for providing livestock feed are considered. An screw has been proposed for the removal, chopping and spreading of straw on the left and right along the side of the combine for the side- walls and the installation of an additional bunker for collecting chaff behind the sieve mill. The parameters of the screw for the removal, chopping and throwing of straw are developed and the power for its drive is determined. |
