Popis: The Wizard of Oz (WoOz) research paradigm is very versatile in terms of experimental procedure, which is why special attention has to be paid to achieving valid results. In this context, for example, driving wizards must be able to consistently reproduce the driving style of an automated vehicle to ensure reliability and validity of the experiment. Since this is a challenging task for human drivers, it is advisable to provide driving wizards with assistive equipment, such as additional information systems. Before designing these systems, it is important to find out how driving wizards can best be supported. Therefore, we conducted a decision ladder analysis to understand what information driving wizards must perceive, what decisions they must make and what actions they must perform. We discovered that additional information, for example, regarding the longitudinal and lateral acceleration, the distance between ego vehicle and leading vehicle as well as the lateral position of the ego vehicle within the lane could be helpful for driving wizards.
