Popis:	The failure to report proportion of variance accounted for by treatment in the social work research and practice literature has frequently led to misleading appraisals of the importance of findings. Researchers can remedy this problem by reporting the proportion of explained variance (PEV) as well as traditional statements of statistical significance. This article describes computational procedures for deriving PEV when published reports fail to provide this information.
