Popis: A resonance-type guided-wave optical acoustic emission (AE) sensor consists of a diaphragm and a single-mode optical waveguide. In order to increase detectable frequency, the feasibility of application of high-order resonance modes was examined by their measured output characteristics using acoustic pulses or continuous waves instead of AE pulses.
