Hypersensitive dentin is an important problem that should be controlled in the clinical fields of preventive dentistry, prosthodontics, and fillings, and especially in patient care in periodontal surgery cases. According to hydrodynamic theory of Brannstrom, several therapeutic methods have been applied, such as glassionomer cement filling, fluoride application, and protein coagulation.
