Popis: | Template photopolymerization of methacrylic acid in an aqueous system in the presence of PVP was carried out. Influences of degree of polymerization of template and monomer concentration were investigated. The reaction is first order with respect to monomer. A reasonable effect of degree of polymerization of template on rate was found. Overall constants were calculated. No effect of PVP on the photopolymerization of acrylamide was found. The influence of viscosity of the system on kinetic constants is discussed. A prolonged post-effect in the polymerization after switching off the lamp was observed. The ratio k t / k p was calculated in terms of the kinetics of the non-stationary state. |
