Popis: This chapter is devoted to studying the process of institutionalization of intellectual production as an innovational approach to organizing the production processes in industry under the conditions of Industry 4.0. The authors analyze the modern global practice of regulation of industrial production: domestic regulation with the help of investment and innovational activity of industrial companies and external regulation with the help of stimulation of R&D, taxation, and development of infrastructural provision. Regression analysis shows the low effectiveness of existing practice as to stimulation of development of hi-tech industrial production and export. Based on this, the authors substantiate the necessity for adapting this practice to the conditions of Industry 4.0 and supplementing it with innovational practice for quick and successful institutionalization of intellectual production. As a result, a conceptual model of intellectual production as a social institute is created. The algorithm of institutionalization of intellectual production, which reflects the essence and logic of this process, is presented, and the authors’ recommendations for its practical implementation in technologically advanced countries are offered.
