Popis: | Carbon dioxide (CO2) is considered as one of the sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) alternative arc-quenching gas. In this paper, the polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is assumed as the nozzle material of gas circuit breaker. The critical electric field strength of the hot CO2 gas mixed with vapor of PTFE at 300 K, 2,000 K, 3,000 K and 4,000 K is calculated as a function of the PTFE vapor concentration. |
