Popis: The induction characteristics of a solar cell to radiated electromagnetic disturbances have been studied experimentally and theoretically in order to clarify the antenna effect of the solar cell. First, the inducted the voltage in a solar cell has been measured when an electric field is impressed on a solar cell by a dipole antenna. Next, the solar cell is modeled by a conducting wire and was simulated by the method of moments. The calculated inducted voltage in the horizontal direction is in good agreement with the measured one, but that in the vertical direction disagrees somewhat. Consequently, it is shown that the conducting wire model with limited electric conductivity can apply to the induction characteristics of a solar cell. On the other hand, we try to measure the radiated emission frequency characteristics and induct voltage frequency characteristics, and compared then with each other. The emission measurement value is in good agreement with the inducted one, and so it is confirmed that the reciprocity theorem in the solar cell module applies.
