| Popis: | Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for computerized tests for web-based cognitive psychology experiments has risen (O'Connor et al., 2020). Additionally, it is a status quo that there is a lack of open-source, validated cognitive tasks for online administration in psycholinguistic research. Particularly in measuring Morphological Awareness (MA), an important predictor of spelling and literacy development, the multitudes of the construct’s definitions and task designs reflect the disunity in psychometric assessments. To provide more options for validated measures, the aim of our study is to adapt a battery of most applied MA tasks, which are suitable for online administration. We will evaluate the psychometric qualities of our adapted MA tests and investigate the aptitude of such tests in online assessment. |
